ANDREA SALTZMAN is Of Counsel to the firm. She is a certified appellate specialist (certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization). She handles appeals, appellate writs, and post-trial motions in all kinds of civil cases throughout California. She also acts as a consultant to attorneys in both appellate and trial courts. Andrea has briefed and argued scores of appeals and writs, encompassing a wide variety of matters. She also has extensive trial experience, again encompassing a wide variety of matters and including jury trials, law and motion practice, and administrative and traditional writs. Although her legal work has been wide-ranging, she has a particular expertise in awards of attorney’s fees and in the substantive areas of land use and general municipal law. Andrea graduated from Boalt Hall School of Law in 1972. Prior to becoming Of Counsel with the firm, Andrea was Of Counsel with the Meyers Nave law firm where she handled appeals, writs, litigation and advisory work, primarily for local public agencies. Andrea has been selected by Law &  Politics for inclusion in its list of "Super Lawyers" in Northern California  for  every year since 2005 which seeks to list the top 5 percent of  lawyers in Northern California through a process of independent evaluation and  peer review.
